Welcome to the Lair

I welcome you, honourable guests, to your very own insight into the world of Musical Theatre. As your very own Opera Ghost, I look to take every visiter along the Austrian Hill tops, across the yellow brick road, through the Parisian Opera House, beyond the barricade, from Broadway to Westend.

Theatre is a magical place to join together with friends and family to experience something spectacular. For just over 2 hours, you can travel to a new place without leaving your seat!

As a young child, I was privileged to have 'The Phantom of the Opera' as my first musical experience, and what an experience it was! I believe it was the brilliant opening, which saw the magnificent chandelier travel from the stage to ceiling, which inflicted a sense of awe in me at the many miracles that can be achieved in the theatre. From that point on I was hooked. Not only did I have a special connection and undying love for Phantom, but my fascination extended to a myriad of shows.

I have grown to love the classics such as 'the Sound of Music', 'My Fair Lady', 'the King and I', as well as the world-wide favourites such as 'Les Miserables', 'Wicked', 'the Lion King', 'Mary Poppins' and of course, the wonderful 'Matilda'. In 2012, I was fortunate enough to see the dazzling new Australian production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Love Never Dies', the sequel to the brilliant Phantom. Whilst the West End show itself recieved mixed reviews and feelings, the Australian production was a creative and fresh twist with a beyond beautiful outcome. The show has since become a favourite.

From just one performance, my love for the theatre was ignited.
